Today, we'll take you down memory lane, highlighting some of our remarkable milestones from 2017 to 2018.
Kickstarting our cinematic journey in 2017, we produced 'Distance,' an evocative short film that won the hearts of critics and audiences alike. Recognized for its poignant storytelling and masterful direction, 'Distance' secured the prestigious LA Shorts Award's Platinum Award for Best Director. Its cinematic excellence was further acknowledged at the NYC Indie Film Awards, where it bagged the Best Short Film and Best Cinematography awards.
In 2018, we continued our streak of compelling narratives with 'Fartman,' directed by the brilliant Siqi Xiao. Despite a budget constraint of $30k, 'Fartman' proved that exceptional storytelling isn't always about grandiose budgets but rather a testament to creativity and talent. This project, realized in collaboration with the New York Film Academy, was a testament to our commitment to foster creativity in the face of challenges.
Rounding out our triumphant year, we produced 'Touch,' which made its mark on the international stage. It was awarded Best International Short Film at the Asia Short Films & Arts Festival and received recognition from the China TV Artists Association. 'Touch' served as a reminder of our ability to craft stories that resonate globally, transcending boundaries of culture and geography.
These early projects paved the way for Reverse Clock Entertainment, defining our studio's character and setting the stage for future endeavors.
